Taking Risks with Watercolour is my first exhibition at The Rutland Gallery, a new and exciting independent contemporary fine art gallery.
The gallery is located in the historic town of Uppingham, a quaint and charming market town in Rutland and is known for it’s picturesque streets and beautiful courtyards.
The exhibition opens on Saturday 1 June and continues until 29 June. Opening hours are Wednesday to Saturday 10.30am – 4.00pm (closed Sunday and Monday and Tuesday open by appointment). The galleries opening and closing times are subject to change so if you are travelling some distance to visit you are advised to check the opening times. Contact details are website rutlandgallery.com and telephone number 01572 510048. Details of the paintings for sale will be on both my and The Rutland Gallery’s websites closer to the time of the exhibition.
Hello Shirley + Mick,
So glad to hear of this exhibition. I have registered for an advanced catalogue of the exhibition 🙂
Hoping you are both keeping well
Best wishes Jill
I love the work in the show just beautiful! I especially like the ones with the collage and I’m guessing a sort of monoprint ink process over the top. They are so interesting! And I love the ones that are more minimal with lots of white paper. But they’re all beautiful and inspiring! If I lived in England instead of Wisconsin I would be there to see the show. You are my hero! Best wishes, Pat Wafer, Madison, Wisconsin
Hello Pat,I just had to message you as soon as I read Madison, Wisconsin.
Half of my family the Genkes live there and I visited them a couple of years ago.
Thank you for your lovely kind words about my work.
My best wishes to you, Shirley T
