As part of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours Annual Exhibition I shall be joining the RI’s President, Rosa Sepple , and fellow RI members Jean Nobel an Ian Sidaway to answer questions on anything to do with water media on Tuesday 9 April at 2.30 pm.
The May edition of ‘The Artist’ magazine has published an article by Shirley Trevena, ‘A Cartoon a Day.’ It reveals how drawing cartoons has always been part of her life and how by drawing everyday events has helped her loosen up her watercolour painting.
As a Member my work will once more be on display at the Annual Exhibition of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (RI). The exhibition runs from 3-18 April 2019 and is open from 10 am to 5 pm.

The next issue of the Art of Watercolour magazine, published early September 2017, includes a feature on women artists which will address issues such as the status of women artists today, the difficulty of balancing family and artistic lives, etc. I am included amongst a dozen women artists.
As one of the invited ‘best watercolour artists from all over the world’ I shall be exhibiting in this exhibition between 1-28 February 2018 in St Petersburg, Russia. Last years exhibition was the first and was attended by over 15,000 visitors.
